The purpose of this website is to provide teachers, students, and others access to the student data collected through this program.

Viewing certain years

In order to see which color goes with a certain year, press the legend tool  (upper far left).  The legend appears on the far right. 

 

 

 

When looking at the viewer, the data collected from all years is visible.  It is set up to where the more recent data is visible over previous years.  So, in the event that you wanted to see if a certain location had been used in 1995, it will be necessary to turn off all layers above 1995 (or turn off all other site data).  It will also be necessary to make the 1995 Sites layer active in order to query and see the attribute information.

 

 

Querying

In order to query (or see the attribute information), you’ll need to zoom into a certain location.  Press the identify tool  and click on that location.  You’ll see the attribute information along the bottom of the screen. 

 

 

The attribute information is the same that is used in the Stream Sampling Results.  The following provides a description of what the attribute fields are relative to the actual stream data. 

 

TEMP_§C__        = Temperature in Celsius Up

TEMP_§C_1        = Temperature in Celsius Down

TEMPERATUR     = Temperature Difference in Celsius

TEMP_DIFF_      = Temperature Difference Q-value

TURBIDITY_       = Turbidity Secchi Depth (m)

TURBIDITY1       = Turbidity Q-value

TOTAL_SOLI       = Total Solids mg/L

TOTAL_SO_1      = Total Solids Q-value

DISSOLVED_      = Dissolved Oxygen mg 02/L

DISSOLVED1      = Dissolved Oxygen Q-value

BOD_5_MGO2    = BOD-5 mg O2/L

BOD_5_Q_VL      = BOD-5 Q-value

PH_VALUE          = pH value

PH_Q_VALUE      = pH Q-value

TOTAL_PHOS     = Total Phosphorus mg P/L

TOTAL_PH_1      = Total Phosphorus mg PO4/L

TOTAL_PH_2      = Total Phosphorus Q-value

NITRITE_AN      = Nitrite and Nitrate mg N/L
